The Arlington PTA is a locally designated Parent Teacher Association under the National PTA. We work to fulfill the PTA’s mission--to make every child’s potential a reality by engaging and empowering families and communities to advocate for all children--within our local community.
The 2022-2023 Arlington PTA Board Members are:
- Anne Brown, President
- Amanda Krantz, Co-VP
- Amy Pollick, Co-VP
- Marisel Molloy, Secretary
- Sandy Kelly, Treasurer
There are many ways to support the Arlington PTA:
Become a member: Membership applications are sent home at the beginning of each school year, but you can join at any time by contacting Anne or Amanda.
Participate in PTA conversations: Join our Facebook page and Band app group to participate in school-related discussions. Also, join our PTA meetings, which will take place virtually on the first Thursday of each month from October to May.
Volunteer: The PTA is a volunteer organization. Volunteer opportunities are discussed at PTA meetings and will be posted in our social media groups. There are always multiple opportunities, varying in commitment size and type!
Support fundraisers: PTA fundraising typically supports field trips and assemblies. We also support other projects based on need and as funding is available. So far this year we have supported the delivery of art kits to Arlington students and the planned mural project with Pocono Arts Council. Look for fundraising efforts to be announced throughout the year, (such as Krispy Kreme donuts, Square One art, etc.), and don’t forget our year round efforts to collect Box Tops and Weis receipts.
