Principal's Message
Elise Hanna has been the principal at Arlington Heights Elementary School since 2015. She holds a B.S. in Psychology from East Stroudsburg University. She also attended the University of Scranton where she earned a M.S. in Counseling and her Educational Administration Certification.
Before becoming a principal, Mrs. Hanna spent thirteen years in education as a secondary school counselor. Prior to that, she was the Program Director for two group homes for adolescents with emotional needs and later she worked as an adjunct professor, teaching at the college level. Mrs. Hanna is married to a wonderful husband, a Social Studies teacher, and she is the extremely proud mom to two grown sons.

Dear Parents, Students, and Community Members,
It is with great pride that I welcome you to Arlington Heights Elementary School! It is my true honor to serve as the principal of this amazing school! One of our goals at Arlington is to always provide a rich and challenging curriculum in a safe, nurturing, and supportive learning environment. My vision for Arlington is to provide students with a learning experience that inspires and motivates them to become lifelong learners and caring contributors to the world around them.
I am so proud of our school community. Our faculty and staff work tirelessly each day in our mission to provide our students with the best education, helping them grow and flourish as young individuals. We pride ourselves in working collaboratively with families to ensure that every student's individual academic, personal, social, and emotional needs are met. We recognize that in order for students to be successful in school, they need the support of both their teachers and their families. I look forward to a productive partnership with you so that your child can reach their fullest potential. This strong partnership will make all the difference in your child's education.
Families are invited to become involved in our PTA. This is a wonderful way to have your ideas heard, as well as support the vision of our school.
